Why me
Hi, I'm Stefan. I sat my IGCSEs in 2026, so I know the papers, the mark schemes and the topics that trip people up.
-
Eight grade 9s at IGCSE
Including Maths, Physics and Computer Science. A 9 is the top grade, set above the old A*.
-
Now studying A-level Maths and Further Maths
Alongside Physics and German, so I use this maths every day, not just at exam time.
-
Summer courses at Harvard and Brown
Pre-college programmes in summer 2026, studying the mathematics behind AI.
-
Lessons in three languages
English, Spanish or Russian, whichever your child thinks in.
Taught to the mark scheme
Examiners give marks for the method, not just the final answer, and lots of marks are won or lost in the working. We practise with real exam questions and mark them the way an examiner would, so your child learns to show every step that earns credit.
- M1
- a correct method
- A1
- an accurate answer (needs the M1)
- B1
- a correct result, independent of method

Questions
Which exam boards do you cover?
Edexcel International GCSE, both linear and modular. I can help with other boards too: tell me which one and I'll work from its specification and past papers.
Foundation or Higher?
Both. If your child is deciding between tiers, a session or two will show where they stand.
Online or in person?
Either. In person in Jávea and nearby towns, or online by video call from anywhere.
When are you available?
Weekdays from 5pm, and I'm flexible. Message me and we'll find a regular time.
What happens in the free first session?
I see how your child works, find the gaps and suggest a plan. It's free, with no obligation to book more.
Which language are lessons in?
English, Spanish or Russian. Exam vocabulary is always practised in English, because that's the language of the paper.
Can you help just before a test or mock?
Yes. One-off sessions are fine, though regular sessions make the biggest difference.
